On Tuesday, July 21, the Kenosha County Food Bank, Gordon Food Service and Carthage College staff, alumni and current students, and a slew of community volunteers delivered another food distribution event targeting Kenosha County households. A 50 ft. semi with 22 pallets of mixed produce boxes and an assortment of chicken products was shared with hundreds of families over the 4-hour event. Printed referral information was shared with every participant listing available food pantries' services and locations (many which are distributing similar products!) to ensure that the Kenosha County Food Bank's community service extends beyond food boxes. We can affect the landscape of local food insecurity together, thanks to all who contributed to the event and support the work of KCFB.
